Quests

Every player is presented with a series of quests in the beginning of the game. By completing these quests you gain rewards, such as resource boosters, premium features, units, etc.

There are different types of quests, all of which are separated into different quest groups. The quests' focus is to guide you through your first steps in the game.

Where can I find the quests?

You can find the quests on the left. They will be looking like the picture to the right.

Each quest group is made up of a number of quests that need to be done before you can continue to new quests.

When a quest is done, the quest will be marked with an icon looking like a chest, like this: Quest Finish.png

We should expand their fields and allow more of our villagers to become farmers. Reach building level 5 for the Farm 2 x Master of Loot

The Art of War

Name Description Demand Rewards
Part 1 - The right calculation It is important to gauge your opponent before going into battle, but currently we do not have any Spies in this village to help us. Therefore we should proceed with caution against our enemies. You can use the battle reports to see how our units did in the battle and if we are receiving certain bonuses like faith and luck. Fight 3 battles with at least 20 Provisions 250 x Wood
250 x Clay
250 x Iron
Part 2 - Two ways In the Barracks you will see there are two categories of units to pick from, offensive and defensive. Offensive units, like the Axe Fighters are great to use against villages to gather loot, while defensive units, like Spearmen are better for keeping our village safe from enemy units.

We need more volunteers for our army, but if you look at the information about each unit type you will see that they require different resources. For example the Spearmen only take 1 Provision each, while the light cavalry takes 4. Let’s recruit units worth 20 Provisions.

Finish recruiting units for at least 20 Provisions Medic

Part 3 - No delay As our army grows, orders become repetitive and hard to manage. I suggest that we upgrade our Rally Point so that you may inform our officers of more of your grand presets. Reach building level 3 for the Rally Point 20 Spearmen

The way of defence

Name Description Demand Rewards
Part 1 - Sword and shield Spearmen are all well and good, my Liege, but wars cannot be won with them alone. We need to expand our barracks to improve our military teachings. This will allow you to finally recruit the Swordsman. Reach building level 3 for the Barracks. 10 Swordsmen
Part 2 - Defenders It is important to note what units are effective against others. Spearmen are good against cavalry units, Swordsmen take down infantry units easily and Archers are effective against other archer units. Heavy Cavalry is very expensive, but they are the elite of defense, as they have no weak points. I have outlined our units strengths and weaknesses in my information reports if you’d like to examine this in further detail.

Now that our renovations to the Barracks have been completed we can start training our villagers into Swordsman.

Recruit 10 Swordsmen 10 Archers
Part 3 - Support! Once we have established allies in the province we can send them support. This will send out our units to help defend the supported village until you give orders to bring them home or the lord or lady in the village sends them back.

Sending a wave of supporting troops can be a sign of friendship between two neighboring villages and may prove to keep peace between the two cities. But Beware, my Liege, some of these lords and ladies are backstabbing snakes waiting for you to let down your guard.

Support one village with at least 1 Spearman 2 x Tactician
Part 4 - Tactics With a Tactician officer in your army the units can traverse through the world much faster. By traveling faster we can take your enemy by surprise and hit them before they are able to prepare their defenses. Support one village with at least 1 Swordsman and a Tactician 2 x Tactician

If we invest in the Market we can attract more merchants and allow them to expand their business to increase the amount of resources we can trade. Reach building level 1 for the Market 600 x Wood
600 x Clay
600 x Iron
Part 3 - Deal or no deal Now that we have the market in place we can create an offer with the merchant. They then take our resources and trade them in another town. Afterwards he delivers us the resource we specifically wanted. Be careful who you trade with, though, my Liege, as we do not want to help the enemy. Create one market offer Build Cost Reduction
Part 4 - An offer you cannot refuse Just as we can create offers for the merchant to sell in neighboring towns, the merchant in our city will have offers from our neighbors. Check the market frequently to see if the merchant has any goods you need. Accept one market offer Instant Trade

Our men will be more effective and quicker to train with some simple improvements around the Barracks. Reach building level 4 for the Barracks. 20 Spearmen

Part 3 - Attacks

Our Axe Fighters and Light Cavalry are now ready for battle. Let’s conquer and loot from the weak villages nearby. Our army grows strong, and under your leadership, it is only a matter of time before this whole province is yours. Fight 5 battles with at least 30 provisions 2000 x Iron

We can Camouflage our buildings, making them seem more or less important to us.
I can have Dummies placed upon the wall to look as though we have more troops defending us.
I could make our troops swap places and make it seem like our Spearmen are Axe Fighters and our Axe Fighters are Sprearmen.
